Pork ribs with cabbage salad and plantain chips.

Writer's picture: CCCC

Time: 10 minutes preparation + (1 hour marinating + 25 minutes cooking)

Ingredients:

  • Barbecue Sauce

  • Pork ribs (as needed)

  • Pre-made Products:

  • Cabbage Salad

  • Plantain Chips

Materials:

  • Zip-lock bag or bowl

  • Air Fryer

Today, I bring you a delicious and quick recipe.

Marinate the ribs with barbecue sauce in a zip-lock bag or bowl for 1 hour in the fridge.

After an hour, place the pork ribs in the Air Fryer. In my case, I had 0.70lb, so I cooked them for 25 minutes at 375°F. (Flip when halfway through cooking time)

While my pork ribs were cooking, I went to a fried chicken joint and bought the cabbage salad. It cost me (Q7.00) ~ $1.00 Dollar. It was quicker and cheaper than buying cabbage, carrots, celery, adding mayonnaise, etc. (Yes, I know it's just for one person).

I also went to my nearest convenience store and bought a bag of plantain chips (I only used half).

Once the ribs are done, serve with Ranch or more barbecue sauce to your liking.

This recipe was inspired by restaurants like AppleBees, TGIF, Skillets, etc., where the average cost of a dish with BBQ ribs with potatoes and corn or cabbage salad is around Q120.00.

Total Spent Q25.00
